Ermira Goro (Greece/Albania) is an artist developing interdisciplinary movement practices in which the body operates as a site of negotiation, composition and transformation. Her artistic path began in Albania and Greece and later continued in New York, where encounters with international dance scenes shaped her early choreographic work. Moving between creation, performance and pedagogy, Goro has collaborated with artists and institutions across contexts, including an extended engagement with DV8 Physical Theatre. Alongside creating and performing, Ermira has been invited by international organisations to create choreographic works. Over the years, her work has been supported and presented at numerous festivals and venues in Greece and around the world, earning critical acclaim for her unique approach. Her work Telos was selected for the Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase Top 10 selection.
Telos 360 is a VR adaptation of the eponymous performance, conceived and directed by Ermira Goro. It draws inspiration from the ancient Greek concept meaning “end” or “fulfilment”. Each choreographer contributed their distinctive artistic language and developed an individual solo, which together form a modular performance composed of interconnected choreographic units. The virtual performance takes us into the choreographic world of Hannes Langolf, one of the choreographers, inviting audiences on a multilayered dance journey – an encounter with meaning, transition and the merging of individual expressions into a shared artistic whole.
