Residencies. New opportunities for dance. Coming soon. 

The residency programme is currently based at Španski Borci, where existing facilities are made available for artistic research, particularly during the summer months. 

In 2027, activities are planned to expand into the new Telo Moste (Dance Residency Centre), comprising three additional studios and residential apartments, creating additional capacities for artistic research.

Telo Moste will host a programme of long-term artistic residencies. Resident artists will develop their own research projects, share their practices through workshops and present their work to audiences. Selected residencies in their first period will focus on collaboration with educational, social care and health organisations, strengthening the connection between artistic research and the wider social environment.

As the residency programme expands with the new facilities, particular attention of the first period will be given to the intersections of dance with virtual reality, architecture, health and public space. Residencies will support the testing of new performative practices in urban environments, bringing together artists, architects, researchers, public institutions and local communities. Many projects will unfold through outdoor presentations, public interventions and site-responsive work, exploring how dance new perspectives on shared spaces and urban culture. 

Together, Španski Borci and Telo Moste strive to form the Moste Dance Quarter: a place where En–Knap will host Slovenian and international artists, offering studios, technical infrastructure, production support and opportunities for long-term research.
