Sonoria is a multimedia performance that unfolds between sound, light and the expressive potential of the human body. Emerging from darkness, an abstract line of movement develops through a landscape of immersive sound and carefully composed light, continuously reshaping the perception of space. The performer communicates primarily through physical presence, movement and voice. Rather than functioning as a vehicle for narrative, speech becomes a sonic and emotional material in its own right. Fragments of Aramaic, drawn from Neil Douglas-Klotz's The Aramaic Lord's Prayer, are used not for their semantic meaning but for their acoustic and vibrational qualities. Freed from the need for translation, language merges with sound, light and movement, inviting the audience into a sensory experience that unfolds beyond words.
