Ida Hellsten joined En–Knap Group in 2012. She studied contemporary dance at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), where she trained with teachers including Anton Lachky, Ted Stoffer and Milan Kozanek. Her education also encompassed ballet, improvisation, contact improvisation, jazz dance and street dance. In 2007, she participated in an exchange programme with the Tisch School of the Arts in New York and completed internships with Roberto Olivan, Anna Vnuk and Carl Olof Berg. Since joining En–Knap Group, she has contributed to the ensemble's repertoire through collaborations with a wide range of international choreographers and directors.
