Greta Pieropan is a dance dramaturg, communicator and companion to creative processes who likes to describe herself as “your friendly neighbourhood dramaturg”. She has been working in the world of dance since 2014, moving between words and movement, artists and audiences, creative processes and their contexts. As a dance dramaturg, she works with artists, collectives and communities, approaching dramaturgy as a relational practice—a space for listening, connection and accessibility.

Her professional practice spans dramaturgy, project development, writing, communication and the moderation of public conversations. From 2022 to 2025, she was head of communication for Dance Well – movement and research for Parkinson’s. She has served on the board of EDN – European Dance Development Network and currently works with the Aerowaves network. She is particularly interested in projects connecting dance with health, education and communities, as well as in documentation and the creation of living archives, where memory is activated through voice and gesture. Her work is grounded in a belief in dance as a transformative force—one that can shift the way we see ourselves, one another and the world.
