The dancers follow the pulse of the drums, moving together in a continuous wave of energetic jumps. Five bodies form a collective organism, whose individual identities dissolve in the rhythm of repetition. Zero channels raw energy, unwavering focus, and endurance, transforming them into a hypnotic meditation. Every movement resonates with strength and commitment, the physical language unfolds without words, and the audience is immersed in the rhythm of unified bodies.
The choreography follows the body, testing its limits to exhaustion and repeatedly returning to the “zero.” It raises the question of what emerges from movement under extreme conditions, where change is both the theme and the means. For this work, Company SIGA received the Grand Prize at the 28th Dance Art Awards, the highest recognition for the best performance in South Korea.
